can't see a difference to going to get food or fuel or worse still going to work at my school 

still a week of holidays will be getting out again no doubt 

Dont worry about what everyone else thinks, just do what you think is appropriet and within the current guidelines. No need to get justification on here.

 Nothing has changed? 

Yes you can go but as recfish west has explained;

• Stay home where possible to minimize social interactions.
• Fish locally only, near where you live and limit your time away from home.
• Fish with your direct household members (no mates or extended family).
• Travel directly to and from your home to prevent any social interactions.
• Maintain spatial distancing of 1.5 metres from other people
• Do not congregate at land-based fishing locations, instead look for more secluded alternatives
• Stay away from popular man-made fishing structures such as jetties
• Do not go fishing if you are in quarantine
• If you are unwell, you must self-isolate, do not go fishing if self-isolating

I have been several times, but not gone far. So far not felt the need to go in the boat. 

I think your dreaming if you go out in a boat and think your staying a social distance away from a non family member. 

 You have been able to fish the whole time.

Saw a police car observing Woodies Point ramp today. Good to see they are making sure people are doing the right thing, which, while we launched and retrieved (with wife and kids on the boat), they were.

We had some mates out today. Anchored on the beach 500m apart to stop the questions from the kids. Drifted a few boat lengths apart catching squid so we could chat.

Gloves on when fuelling up, driving on and off trailers. Its easy to do without touching anything.

Im sick of the people at the shops and the park not taking it seriously. how hard is it? im gonna lose my shit at someone soon.

Ill be fishing tomorow with the kids.

 Excuse my ignorance. Why does everyone keep referencing rec fish west? Who really cares what they say? Shouldn't we be following state/federal government advice not what an independant body advises. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Went for a walk down to beach today for a little exercise and was blown away by the amount of vehicle traffic way more than the average Sunday. Definitely a lot of essential activities going on  

As soon as the announcement was made about schools I've noticed a large increase in activity.
