Heading out tomorrow morning Saturday to chase some salmon in the sound question is are they still hanging in there and rough areas last seen thanks.

Saw absolutely nothing today
Saw absolutely nothing today and we did plenty of miles, though there was a massive school in the fishing boat harbour. Assume they will start heading down the sound tomorrow

Yep - Done the same
Yep - Done the same Wednesday and yesterday- Found no large schools like there was last week.
Watched as lots of boats were moving around the Sound looking.
Good luck tomorrow- I'll be out there if I see any action on the water during the day.

Dragged a couple of lures from peron to fremantle for 1* 42cm pinkie, looking for the birds the whole time.

Thursday
i was out in the Sound Thursday, there were Salmon feeding everywhere we looked, from the Yatch club jetty out to the deep water in front of the Grain Terminal.

none Saturday but a few on Sunday
Trolled around the Sound on Saturday and gave up after no nudges at all. Not even the tell tale sign of birds diving... Went for a squid bash and got 10 in an hour so that made the day for us. On sunday i launched my boat at rockingham at 2pm and went straight out into the middle of the sound and found some birds working an area. I raced over there and trolled and picked up 3 nice salmon in 30 minutes. That was all I needed as some old blokes I know from the pub wanted one each for the smoker.. I was back on the ramp at 3pm and home shortly there after. There were 3 other boats that raced over and got into them as well.

Me and the brother In law
Me and the brother In law headed out Sunday morning, on the water for about half hour and had hooked up about five times, we were out behind garden island and seen I few birds diving and there was salmon everywhere!

Went out there afternoon-
Went out there this afternoon- Huge schools of salmon. Blanked out sounder. At 17 meter's depth the water was stirred up with shell grit from the salmon. Never seen anything like it-had no problems sighting the schools.
Just out front of Palm Beach jetty behind the moorings.
Got bloody sore arms now. Looking good for the long weekend.
