Sound squid

Cockburn sound producing some good squid this arvo.
The closer to the ammo jetty the hotter they were and so was the navy officer on the load speaker!!

in the top pic is the far left one a cuttelfish?. good catch of squid though. best eating mollusc in the sea i reckon :P good job

how close to the jetty?
ive been meaning to head down that way for a feed of squid.
were you on boat (guessing so) or the jetty (in casting distance)? also, north or south side?

squid plus a cuttlefish
Dirty water, so we were shallow. best were in 3 meters on the south side. Sea breeze was howling until 5ish then dropped off.
Salt and pepper squid for dinner topped it off!

i remember snapper fishing
i remember snapper fishing in one of the anchor holes thats pretty close. Jut as the snapper came on the navy seal guys came out in there camoflauge boat tellin us to move on scared the shit out of me

Yummy squid hope
to get some either Wednesday or Thursday, only one pack in the freezer and hopefully some nice whiting.
