Steep Point

Hi folks, can anyone tell me the names of the camps at Sheltered Bay Steep Point & their locations.
Have a mate who will be there the same time as us next week & we are interested to know where we will be staying in comparison to each other.

I think the first ones
I think the first ones closest to the ranger are Blackies East, Blackies West.... then there are a few more and near where the barge crosses to DHI that camp is Stragglers I think...

I have not see such a map, however, that said the furthest away you could be from your mates is mabye 2kms. There are only about 10 sites, so they should be easy to find.
Chances are you'll be very close to each other.

the station we stay at up
the station we stay at up there has maps of all the campsites at the homestead, the ranger station may have the same on the way into steep point, worth a look

Which camps are you both at
Which camps are you both at and I'll try to tell you where they are in relation to each other.
blackie's is at the south eastern end, Wellard and Wellard west in the north western end. tip, Lombardo's and scavengers are close together in the middle of the bay. There are a few more in between. I think easter is up near Wellard.

Hope to catch up and tell a few lies around the camp BBQ lol.... no open fires.... we will be next to the rangers camp from the 24th cant come around quick enough

Thanks guys, that gives me a good idea Randall. I,m thinking we are at Wellard & i'm not sure where my mate is yet. They are heading up there on Saturday & have two 8.0m cats coming from Denham, so they wont be hard to spot.
Sacbag we are there from 23 April for a week so it would be good to catch up, most of us are novices to the area so a little point in the right direction will be great.
Two campers, one silver 100 series Cruiser & a grey Colorado. And if we don't sink them, two kayaks haha.

We're booked for Wellard for
We're booked for Wellard for may 16 - 23. it's nicely protected especially for anchoring the boats. The sand spit to the north has a 7m deep channel within a long casting distance.

Were at blackie west in on the 24th sometime.... mates are driving in with the boat and a camper.... we will be be coming down from dehnam on Sat as well with my boat. Have you guy's done the trip down from denham before ? if you guy's are around It would be great to travel down together as this is my second trip and Im not sure of the area can you please pass on the massage to your mates.
I got some great help from guy"s on here let hope we all get some good weather and good fish

Any word from anyone who is currently at Steep Point.
Heading up tomorrow & wondering what the conditions are like at the moment.
