I think you'd be better off reading Alan hawks reel review if you need the spec difference. I prefer the old sw reels but maybe that's just the price tag talking :) if theybuilt the twinpowers in the larger sizes I'd go for those too
personally I don't think so. If the size your after is available in the newer twinpowers then I'd go that way. I'm sure a few others will chime in soon enough to get a few more opinions
I'm surprised you've referred to the Alan hawk reviews then recommended the twin power.
i really enjoy reading the Alan hawk reviews and own both SW and SWB Stella's, however from recollection didn't Alan rip the new Twinpowers to shreds? I could be wron as haven't been back to look at the review lately but I believe there was a lot of plastic inside the twinpowers and little commonality with the Stella, whereas the Catalina and Saltigas (2012/2010 respectively) shared ~95% componentry.

Thanks mate, that's what I'm
Thanks mate, that's what I'm trying to figure out. Is it worth spending the extra bucks on the SWB?

yeah that's pretty true, Alan
yeah that's pretty true, Alan Hawk described the twinpower as more of a bit of an upgraded stradic not a "downgraded stella"

I referred Alan hawks site
I referred Alan hawks site for spec info.. I never suggested he is the be all and end all of fishing reel reviews :)
I've serviced a few twin powers and they seem pretty good for the dollar but I'm not claiming to know much either. It was just my opinion :)
I personally prefer the old Stella sw and old saltiga (before mag sealing) but they are getting hard to find new at a reasonable price
