I'm looking at a seaswirl striper 1851
Has anybody been on one?
I am looking for some feedback.
I know they are a wide American boat, apparently 2.57m according to the internet. So maybe needs permits to tow.
Only has 115 on it also, so maybe underpowered slightly?
Cheers in advance.

I have a 2101 and always
I have a 2101 and always thought the 1851 was under 2.5m. As for underpowered i have a 150 yamaha hpdi and would love another 50hp. That said i still cruise around 23-25knots and top out on a fine day around 35-36knots. If you have a full tank you will know about it, that makes a huge difference in itself. I generally fill to half or just over.

If your looking at the 1851
If your looking at the 1851 for sale on gumtree with the 115hp I imported that boat in 2010. It is SEVERLY under powered struggled to even get on the plane. I wouldn't touch it unless you plan putting a 150hp on it. I paid $11k for that boat on a trailer in the US. Sold it with a beautiful EZ loader trailer under it that's probably been sold separately as its no longer sitting on that trailer.
