Suction cup rod holders

anyone else use these and not had any issues? I need to resort to something like this because a couple of my rods won't fit in my ute.

my cousin uses them. my cousin has a city car so no room for rods. he has had them for a few years. loves them. never had a problem.
Give me a fish and I will eat for a day, teach me to fish and I will starve to death.
