Great effort
I reckon we passed you on our way in, love your dedication and don't mean to be a nag, but gotta say you were a long way offshore in a pretty stiff southerly, hope ya always know what your doing out there mate. How long does the trip in take with that sort of breeze behind you? Tight lines.
P.S. Only saying this because 10 mins after passing you, I found a diver in the water who was in need of rescue, his boat had broken anchor and drifted away, pulled him on board, then found his 2 mates about 10 mins South of his position, rescued them and then found there boat about a mile north in some pretty shallow territory!! Very lucky boys this time, things go wrong quickly, so just always be over prepared for your safety out there mate.
May post a brief report on the incident on Sunday a bit later.
Great work on the fish but mate.
Cheers Luke

Apreciate your concern
Apreciate your concern mate...i do carry all the apropriate safety gear...epirb offshore flares vhf radio wear my life jacket at all times..
It was a stiff breeze yes but its nothing out of the norm for me....my kayak fully rigged does float when full of water too...if my sail snaps ill pedal..of my pedals break ill paddle.. if my paddle breaks , well clearly im meant to stay out fishing... i do have my limits though anything above a 2 meter swell is a no go when crossing the 3 mile and any winds above 20 knots are a no go....im generally heading as the winds swing around anyways :)
Again i do apreciate your concern
