Anyone know any decent places I can drop my crab pots in without needing a boat? Help appreciated.

Experiment
If you have a good number of pots then just try a different jetty / spot each time and hit the ones that produce most. Some will be better than others for sure. If you just want a handful in the water try anywhere in the lower reaches of the Swan, I've seen plenty around, particularly after dark.
