swan river fishing
Submitted by fishing fanatic on Sun, 2012-03-18 14:46
so im not gonna say where i heard this from, and not sure if its all true. but i have had some people tell me that a 39kg long tail tuna was caught of e shed sometime this week by a guy chuking out lures for bonito.
but now to the bigger news. i also have heard about some guys who have done 9 nights in the river with balloons. having 16 runs and landing 3 bull sharks to 2.1m long. fairly far up the river to. i for one am hitting up the place they told me for sure to try get some bullies, so for those of you who love catching sharks, have a go in the river :D.

thats what i was thinking but the guys who told me said it was a close friend of theirs. they were on south mole and just lost some sort of a shark and called him up saying come to them and he said he just landed a huge tuna, then at his house they weighed it at 39kg. like i said not sure if its true or not, but i do know there was alot of bontio in there recently :/

That's the one
The only thing is longtails usually have yellow fins this one doesn't might just be the angle. Either way a cracking LBG fish to Linley.
Heaps of bait in that area snd with bonito at north mole not to surprised there are a few big tuna lurking. Let's see if some can get an e shed spaniard lol

39kg was a "misstype" 9-0 are fairly close on the keyboard.. it that first one just pushed 30kg
the second one was around 20kg
and the third was by the same angler as the first which was last week and went 25kg
