Has any one ever caught a land based snapper in the swan river

yeah caught tonnes around
yeah caught tonnes around bicton baths, biggest was a whopping 12ish cm.

Have caught and released a
Have caught and released a size snapper at a secret spot between bicton baths and the east freo yacht club. Was on bream gear :). caught 10, 1 was just size, 2 were within 10cm and the rest were like 20cm-30cm.
Mind you we were in a tinny, but easily close enough to a little jetty you could have casted off , out as far as were we anchored up.
Fishing and catching are two different things. But i want to learn how to catch.

Yea i know, they dont actually spawn, they might, but we have caught heaps of ones i swear just got born, like 10cm and under, as i said only like 1 size one weve ever caught, but didnt keep it.
Fishing and catching are two different things. But i want to learn how to catch.

plenty of small pinkies around mossies
plenty of small pinkies around mossies of the shoreline,usualy around end of april when the blackbream and tarwine show up for catch and release fun,even caught 1 just size a few years back

Snapper???
Was getting pinkies in the mid 40's at the end of summer chasing flattys around the east freo way. They will be sized this year, can't wait to land a sized river snapper

yeah scott caught two recently about a week ago!, undersize though i really dont know about targetting sized ones in the river thats just pure luck!
