Swapping crays for fish

 Howdy,

Can anyone confirm the legalities regarding swapping crays for fish?

I quite enjoy diving and catching crays but normally give them to my Dickie/ neighbours, but quite enjoy fish, such as tuna and snapper, but with only a tinny, struggle with getting out far enough.

Is it ok to swap produce? Like this coming week (on Tuesday)?

a stupid grey area once again-if you ask Fisheries they'll say not if you are getting a reward for it.

If its someone you know then whats the harm? But Id say (for example) looking for someone on Gumtree to swap with would probably attract unwanted attention.

It always comes back to the people who overboard-instead of swapping crays for fish how about for petrol, fix the trailer, service the outboard, the lawnmower bloke etc

If its someone who you'd give them to even if they had nothing to swap (relative, mate etc) then how would they even know?

Page 4 of the guide states that you cannot sell or use rec caught lobster for any gain or reward. (Including barter or exchange for other goods or services)

that being said I often give things to mates, and they often choose to give things to me. (Totally unrelated)
