If you want something decent and a little cheaper, and don't mind waiting, have a look at Cabela's in the US. I've bought a couple of real nice ones from them.

I have a Rogue tackle bag, holds 4 big trays and 2 small trays, with one pocket. So far so good, also has 2 net pockets on the inside of the lid. Not sure on cost as I received it as a gift but probably around $50

The rogue tackle bag Hutch mentioned sounds like the bag I just bought my son. They are half price at BCF (not that I like going there) at the moment. Sorry Hutch dont read this. They were $80 now $40

 After having the rogue bag

Mon, 2014-10-13 17:53

After having the rogue bag which has also lasted me 3+ years, I'd go a backpack if you do a lot of walking  while fishing or carrying a lot of gear. it can get heavy and awkward  and kills your shoulder/back

Im also on the hunt for a tackle bag solution so would be keen to see others set ups

ive got 2 of those rougue

Mon, 2014-10-20 11:51

ive got 2 of those rougue bags, got one free with a pair of waders i bought from bcf. The shoulder strap is padded so it doesnt put too much stress on the shoulders. Had mine for about 3 years now, and yes i agree with the boys make sure to spray or the zipps start to stick. Great for carrying terminal tackle and lures.

Hiker back packs

Mon, 2014-10-20 12:03

Try K-Mart, Big W or such places for a hikers style back pack. Look for padded shoulder straps, some have a firm plastic insert inside pack to spread load. Most will have multiple compartments. Best thing to do is only carry the gear you need. Keep all ya different size rigs, hooks, sinkers etc in separate trays a lot easier to load, unload and store ya gear.
