Anywhere that has reef and or deep surf gutters you'll be in with a chance if you can find bait holding on the surface its a bonus. Where the Reef creates wash and white water thats where the tailor feed and ambush or in the case of deeper beach gutters the tailor use em like highways up and down the coast contantly searching for a feed. Im not saying its the best spot (still good but plenty better) but go have a look at the area around trigg island that will give you an idea of the ground to keep an eye out for. Good luck!

 As the swan river is the great divide with, i think, a passport and visa needed to cross it, it is best to ask for a more specific area.  Lol

NOR there are some cracker reefs going right up to two rocks and beyond that are easy to get to and produce on sun rise/set. As Rob90 said the wash and bubbles coming off the reef is where they hide out to ambush.  Going off the marina walls can work also at times and makes for a more relaxing fish as there is always somewhere to sit. Blowies can be a problem off them. Whitfords beach or i think it is called pinnaroo point was always good in the arvo but it has been years since i have been there myself. Can get a feed of whiting also from there if you run 2 rods.  Like boat fishing, a good burley trail can help a lot and also gives you a chance at the odd mulloway.
