I know you say trolling, but it would be a bit tight in most of the canals to troll

not in the older canals, but the main canal in the newer canals over the old traffic bridge. plenty of space. the tailor seem to hang in groups and you need to keep going back over the same section when you get onto them.

forgive me if i am wrong, i am fairly new as well but i believe tailor has minimum size of 32cm? i am not having a go so please don't be upset by my comment and on fw we are only supposed to educate and not have a go at people, so that is exactly what i am doing. just trying to educate and if i am wrong then i am educating myself. just please check on size limits for fish species and times of year.

thanks for understanding. this is what i found

Region
Mixed species daily bag limit for
nearshore/estuarine finfish,
per fisher
Daily individual species
(tailor) bag limit, per fisher Legal size limits Statewide
16
 8
tailor (as part of the
mixed species bag)
Minimum:
300 mm

Maximum:

Only 2 tailor over
500 mm

hard to tell from your picture the size. probably over 30cm but just so i know and maybe you if you didnt already.

again, sorry i am not trying to insult. i just get protective coz i see some people do very selfish things and i am a nature lover.

PS i also think that FW people are the ones who act responsible and care about our waters. when you see idiots out there you can pretty much guarantee they dont come around here except maybe as unregistered guests to steal people's tips.

thank you.

thanks for your email. yes, there were 2 of us fishing, so we did not breach the limit. as for the size, i am fairly confident that the smaler sized tailer was legal.

I do appreciate your comments & concerns. i need give more details in my next post
