Caught 17 tailor and 30 herring (3 licences). I forgot how good eating fresh tailor are

Your not wrong piston, went to yanchep yesterday and for the 10 mins that the tailor were around (we got there just before the sun rose over the dunes) we caught 2 and baits were getting smashed before we had set the sinker from the beach

Over the last few yrs haven't seen many bags like that. Perhaps all the limits imposed are starting to have an effect and the numbers are climbing back up.

Is it safe to assume from a boat given that you made mention of licences? Top effort either way.
Some good size fish about if you know the right place to at the right time. 62cm for me last week & mostly averaging around 45cm. All my tailor are on lures & landbased.
