Been a while since we had managed to get out for some bottom dwellers, so took a mate from work and Tailor marc out for a run.
Couple we got from two rocks on Sunday. awesome conditions.
huge amounts of black bums about at the moment!!
Good day on the water.

nah only got a couple fish
nah only got a couple fish all day.
other boys did well.. marc got a nice dhu, and black bum(Picture above). Camera went flat after the black bum photo.
Had to work bloody hard to find the fish, left at 4am, on the water by 5.30am, back at the ramp at 5.15pm
out about 13 mile, and couldnt find any fish.
Was not until after lunch i decided stuff this, and steamed 8 or so miles north to some new ground, where we picked up a few fish, and dropped a few aswell.
i was lucky on the baldie, i was snagged up and couldnt free it, so let the line go slack....then wound and pulled hard, it came free with a fish on the end!!!
End result for the day was not that good.
3 dhuies (1 released)
2 baldies
about 8 - 10 black bums, ranging from small 25ish cm upto almost 50 cm. (2 kept 8 or so released)
