Thats a cray

Got these on first dive of the season. We usually dont take many but we like to clear the commitments with friends and relatives early on.
The big one was 196mm carapace and the front legs were 650mm long.The photo of crays on the floor was after the first dive and the fish box was after the second dive.

That is just crazy.
At a quiz night I would not have guessed Crays get that big.
what would the specifics be on eating quality at that size/age versus breeding capacity? I'm happy enough u took it. On the farm we ate the two year old beasts and the old ones went of to the yards for mince.

I just suck on those legs.
That is huge. Thought I caught a huge Jumbo yrs ago after my final UNI exam. Mine used its legs to jam himself in a hole. Only way to get him was to one by one break off a leg, shove it in the bag until he lost his hold. My jumbos carapace stretched from elbow to wrist, but I dont think it was THAT big.
