Took the skids for a whiting fishing expedition at hearsons cove this arvo and this was caught first cast by one of the boys. My youngest wanted to put it in the esky and take it home. I had one take a liking to my favourite squid jig the other day in marnie bay. They seem to be everywhere at the moment. Got a good feed of whiting which was a plus.

Same...
...tried hanging a NW blowie in a pro craypot and all it did was rot. However, I have used the normal ones in crab nets and they do work...although pretty much anything would in the Peel Inlet in January...

Tried small blowies in estuary
They work well, no need to buy bait just an oily rag and a scoop net and you have all the fresh bait you need. I was just curious about how the nw bolt cutters would go as cray bait as it appears that if you venture out in the boat you are going to encounter them.
