Good day All
I am moving to Perth in a couple off months and would like to get my head around what i can fish for.
At the moment i do large sharks and skates with normal rock and surf gear. ( sliding large baits live and dead)
What are my target fish in perth area? All i could google is 5 or 6 fish to target with medium to light tackle. ( snapers and what not)
Some advice would be great.
Thanks all

if you like large sharks you
if you like large sharks you have come to the right place, just not allowed to catch them (GW's).......
If you like late nights there are mulloway often caught in the river (called Jew fish or jewel fish on the east coast)- later in the year when the Leeuwin current moves in closer to the coast Spanish mackerel can be caught from the shore.
Enjoy

Plenty of sharks around if
Plenty of sharks around if you know where to look. Millions of rays around the metro area ranging from tiny to buses that you will fight all night and not budge.
As mentioned above, mulloway are around if you're willing to put in long hours.

Welcome
Not far north or south of Perth there is pretty good beach fishing and metro will be worth it if you put in the time. Use the search function on the sidebar and look up beach fishing, lots of good info been put up over the last decade.
