Three dives in 2 months

I have been out chasing cockroaches of Hillarys & Burns in general terms toal shit vis at Burns about 5 mt heaps of under size eneded up with 3 keepers dives of Hillarys 12mt bloody swell surgevis one day very good about 10mt no crays apart from a couple of jumbos that i tend to leave as i thing 76/100 mm carapise are far better another dive off Scrborough vis 5 mts 6 tar spot 5 keepers heaps of under size.when are they coming back in

weve been getting 1 tank bag outs on crays no smaller than a kilo+! some horses up to 3kgs, and quite a few of those.
plenty around, all reds generally. vis has been amazing, and some good fish sighted as well. 18m, and a similar area to where you dive.
I find diving the 3 mile can be a bitch, as it usually gets washy in all but 0.5m swell. find some lumps, rather than a reef mate.

Yea your right about the depth relationship to vis,truth is one mate has bagged out regularly this year in 22/24 & sometimes good vis but not every time.One of my mates sold his gear and pulls pots/fishing the other still works & can only do one day over the weekends I have a stuffed hip & end on last year found I couldnt climb the ladder I had into the boat (New Ladder now) so a lot is my fault but that's life Stay safe .
