Thunnus captures

Hi all last time i was over i got myself 3 Thunnus, from Complete Angler Nedlands, for my UK and European catfishing. Thought id share a few pics off the results. Im well pleased with the reels to my mind tge ultimate cat reel.

Bloody hell
If there were catfish (cobbler) that size in the estuary I'd stay out of the water.
That is one hell of a catch well done, just a quick question, do they have spikes on the head and side fins like the estuarine catfish we get over here.

Cheers mate they were great fun to catch, no theres no "spikes" on them to speak of, the pectoral fins have a boney part to them on the front edge but thats all.

Yeah Leethal thats where the power comes from, you have to carefull if your netting one on your own as just when you think you have them they back out off the net and are off again, i think im right in saying that apart from eels there the only freshwater fish that can swim backwards.
