tiger nite

Hey all. went for a fish down local beach last night in hope of something big. Was pretty slow uneventful nite with only a few little ones. Got to early hours this morning just after i closed my eyes wen the first balloon 150m out decided to go for a solid run. 5mins into that fight my new avet overhead with a bigger bait on also started to run with alot if speed so give up first rod to a mate who always wanted to catch something big. After 30mins he had the first one close turned out to be 1.8m tiger. Another 30min on and had another alot bigger and fatter. Was about 2.4m and bloody fat. Also hooked a big a$$ grey ray would of been 6ft across.

Catch and release
How did they go on the release, yes I know that it is an assumption that they were released, just wondering if after a decent fight from the beach they released ok.

Both released and swam off strong. I always try to get them back in asap so i can catch them another day.
