Tilt trim probs

Hi guys anyone know of someone nor to have a look at a problematic tilt trim, keep blowing fuses, I believe this is a problem I inherited when I bought the boat as its has an aftermarket inline fuse in the power line would only rarely blow a fuse but now just blows a fuse when I press the button, any help greatly appreciated

Have you checked all the wiring. There may be an exposed wire shorting out on another wire along the line

Yep check the back of
Yep check the back of switch,any wires rubbed through or squashed.you want good clean tight connections also and apart from that I'd say the motor would be rooted.Brocken or loose windings. What type of outboard?

Thanks guys, got it going, I believe the seals in the pump or motor may be gone and letting water in and causing corrosion, after a few hit with the trusty hammer trying to remove the motor I managed to free it up and it works fine again, so hopefully I can put a kit through it and be done with it.
