Trailer bunks
Submitted by Pete F on Thu, 2020-03-05 10:26
Hi All,
Been pulling my hair out today trying to find where to buy all plastic boat trailer bunks with the 45 degree at the end in Perth. If anyone can point me in the right direction please?
Spent a bunch of time on the hold to all boats only to find out here they closed.....Nice if they would change the on hold message to their customers!

Have you tried calling a wa
Have you tried calling a wa trailer manufacturer like spitfire, trailit etc and asked if you can purchase some off them, or atleast where they purchase them from if there not made in house.

I specificaly want the all
I specificaly want the all plastic type, modifying a trailer to suit a very large kayak the plastic ones will help adjust to the slightly curved hull.

Savage Trailers
Try Savage Trailers in Melbourne. They post and are great to deal with.

Just realised that at 2m long they may cost a bit to post. Worth trying though.
I did then the best that I knew how. When I knew better, I did better.

I got some 10mm HDPE sheet
I got some 10mm HDPE sheet offcut, and I will be covering my trailer bunks with it to aid in sliding off and on the trailer.

+1 For Dutalite
+1 For Dutalite trailers, I picked up 2x 3.5m bunks last week. I measured the hull deadrise and they bevelled them to suit, they were a pleasure to deal with.

Thanks exactly who I want. I
Thanks exactly who I want. I had seen their add but it looked like they were QLD. Do they have a store? Web site says online and give no address for the Perth online store. The online store gives me issues with shipping to Lancelin.
