trailer winch advice

g'day all,
im looking to invest in a 12volt winch for the trailer as i think it will be alot easier for the beach retrieve.
it'll be retrieving a 6m fibreglass centre console weight approx 1500 kg.
any advice greatly appreciated.

I use a fly wheel of a ford and the matching starter motor (both off a V8) and it takes 17 seconds to get a 6m quinine up from hooking on to putting safety chain on.
All you need is someone with access to a lathe to make the boss for the fly wheel, and who can make the bracket for the starter motor.
