The JRC is a 600w unit Craig.
I'm not sure if the make them standard with the JRC plug but I do know someone who had a plug removed from one and had a JRC plug spliced on at the JRC dealer in Freo.
You can also buy the transducer with optional interchangeable plugs. That would mean just getting the short convertor cable made.
Depends what your after for your $ Craig
The FF50 was definitely more detailed and went deeper with the 1kw over the 600w.
If you get it with the interchangeable plugs you can always use it if you ever upgrade
