Trolling for snapper

 Hello, just wondering if anyone is catching snapper trolling lures in the Cockburn sound if so what are your preference's cheers. Thought I would ask the question because I don't here much about it.

heading out on me dinghy Monday arvo weather permitting to try break this drought and get me first metro pinky befor the ban.

The snappers I caught last week were drifted not trolled.

 yep got a few myself on trolled halcos ...crazy deeps in quantas or pink shine whatever its called . 8 and 5 meter divers...change out the singles or stonger trebles ans the snapper crush the halco ones and also dont use a clip swivel to attach them as they will undo them

 Dunno about the sound but down in Augusta I've caught a heap of small pinkies up to 40cm trolling 50-80mm deep divers on the kayak. I've found the slower the better and make sure the lure gets right down into the strike zone.

 Thanks guys, Good to here it is possible but yeh I will be sticking to the basic's I guess and do the kilometres to see if I can sound something burley slam acouple of coldies and wait. Either way I love being on the water.
