Anyone venturing south to chase trout this season??
I'll probably be heading down Thursday after work (leave around 3ish) to see whats about......

What area do you hang out in HuggyB? Not asking for GPS marks LOL. I have always been a lover of a weekender down around Pemberton. Maybe it's the trees? Fuggin Karri Wattle pisses me off after a night of rain though. The "unfolding umbrella" I call it.

When we were on hols
to Walpole and back in May we cruised around that area for a day and checked the dam out , some good looking fingers up in the back woods hey , what are you using lures or bait Huggy , sort of reminded me of some of the backwaters of Burrinjuck Dam over east .

Lures only
at harvey (and waroona). Will be trolling minnows (generally halco scorpion 35's) and then fly fishing to the rises as the sun sets later in the arvo.

i was thinking to go on fri but had a look at weather maybe thurs is looking like a better day to go :) maybe i see you there.

yeah
this weekend is not looking very promising though to be honest. Bucks day/night and fathers day, plus my beloved saints are playing.
Maybe an early Saturday morning? Like 5am @ HArvey - PM me if you are keen. Will be a looooooooong day of fishing and then a bucks (paintballing and drinking)........
