Two rocks mon 12th
Well finially got up to Two rocks for a fish. Took SamC and a mate from work who lives up that way.
Took off about 7am by the time we got sorted. Started looking around in the 40s for a bit of ground. Found a few fish on the first lump, 1 bust off and my mate boated the biggest NW Blowie i have ever seen, time to move. Found some pots out a bit deaper in 45mt so had a drop and put a few big blackass and 2 baldies in the esky. Still a very slow day so with the weather being nice decided to head out a bit deaper. Found a bit of ground in 65mtr and after finding the right drift i pulled up 2 dhuies 1 about 10kg and his mate about 6kg and another baldie. Ended up having to head home about 3pm as it started blowing from the south at about 20knts. Ended up being 22NM out from the ramp.
Not a bad day out concidering we went up with no ground but still came back with a feed. Ended up with 2 dhuies, 3 baldies, 6 blackass all good size and a fox fish.
Will def head back again sometime soon. No one had a camera so sorry no photos.
And Sam i am sure you will crack your Dhuie cherry on my tub soon mate. Next time.

6.4mtr plate boat with a
6.4mtr plate boat with a 150hp. Mate has a 560 quinny and travels that far. You just need to pick you days and if it blows than just a long ride home.
