had a usg-sp601bm 1.8m 8-10kg ugly stik gold hooked up to my alvey with 130LB K-Braid loved it , stopped anything and everything lasted 4 years and was pinched from my yard , brought another setup the same rod lasted 18months and an eagle ray was it's demiss snapped 3 eye's down .so they punch well above there weight just find the length and flex your after and for 70-140 i've done much worse
yep tip to butt the bloke at my tackle store showed me and said they where unbreakable hence why i brought it as nothing in the lower price range was withstanding what i was putting them through. only other problem i had was there wasn't bugger all room left in the end eye
