we bought a couple of ugly stiks in exmouth in july, last week one shit its self has any one else had problems with these bloody expensive toys .

I think it's a Jig SPin 5 foot 6 inch 24 kilo rod

How did it shit itself , there usually pretty good rods , also it does have a warranty maybe give a tackle store a ring to find out who to contact for a warranty claim.

I jig with an Ugly stick , havn't had a problem with mine ( but it's a Black Tiger )

Good to hear they replaced it for you 01dusty.

I've fished with ugly stiks for many a year and have pretty much only good things to say about them. Having said that mine are used to run mono not braid.
