I have noticed a lot of new people have been coming on the site and don't bother filling in any details on themselves, where theyre from, rods, reels, interests, male or female, as sometimes you can't tell from their user name. I have clicked on a few I was going to invite for a fish but they have no details. And I would like to know a little about these people before I ask them on my boat .

That's a good point Paul and it has been a while since its been brought up.
I find myself alot more willing to give people info on Exxy when they ask if they have taken the time to fill in some information about themselves, helps weed out the lurkers from the genuine.

Yeah I feel it should be mandatory as Mako said to activate your account, as it cost
nothing to become a member. So give something back so people know what your
general interests are, this way people don't seem like complete strangers.

click on 'my account', on the
click on 'my account', on the top left of the screen and theres all the details there, a few catagories as well
