V8's

Just chilling watching the V8's from Sandown, massive prang in the co drivers race. Fortunately nobody was hurt.

Dare I suggest a little nudge from behind

Can't say with certainly but, I think he may have got a bit of a nudge from behind coming into the corner, just a suggestion puff of smoke from car behind looks like he hit the brakes harder than planned on.

Yep, he got whacked & pushed

Sun, 2017-09-17 22:18

Yep, he got whacked & pushed off the track. The car behind (Webb) jumped on the brakes late trying to go through with the other car (Russel). Being behind the other car upsets the aero though so he had less braking performance & it caused the lock up. Once locked up he had no steering, went in a straight line & whacked Hazelwood in the side. The move was never on & frankly Webb shoud have known better. Can't say I'm surprised really though. He was a below average driver when he was doing it full time. Now he's a part timer he has no business being out there. If it wasn't for the fact that he owns the team, he wouldn't of been. Hazelwood showed himself to be cool as a cucumber though. No anger, no malice & in another V8 30 minutes later to do another race. Reckon he won himself a lot of fans with the way he handled the entire situation.
