Bought on recommendations from here, and have never been happy with it. Noisy as F**, vaccing is only average, and it has now started to play up after not a lot of work at all. Had a Sunbeam before that, used for many years, only bough the Moel when the Sunbeam seemed to be showing it's age.
I have the Sunbeam Food Saver VS7800 unit. I use it all the time and have had it for 4 years and not a drama with it. It has a few modes to use such as wet or soft which is handy. I put two cray tails together, wrap a bit with glad wrap to hold them together and then vacuum seal them and they last for 12 months easy. It's more expense than some but I think its worth it. Have a read of the reviews.
I buy my bags bulk from Master Butchers in Canningvale as they do different sized bags. I have never used the rolls but some say they are good and come with the machine.
I’ve got the Sunbeam and the Möel , use both all the time . The Sunbeam is good for quick heat sealing jobs ( ie resealing Panko bread crumbs ) yet the Möel sucks like a Cuban whore when it comes to vacuum sealing . It’s amazing how often they’re getting used and how they contribute to less spoilt food . Hey Andy Gnaraloo Bay was awesome for a swim yesterday, did a quick road trip from home for a picnic with the wife...:)
Hi there mate, I had a Sunbeam one for a while which was ok but always overheated, it died and I decided to get something a bit more commerical, I ended up buying a PAC Food sealer and havent regretted the purchase awesome machine and beats the small ones hands down, a little more pricey but then a mate of mine bought a similar machine from Master Butchers in Canning Vale and paid nearly a grand so I think I got a good deal, I have posted a link below for you to have a look at it, mine is slightly different as I see they have a clear lid now and mine is stainless but the rest looks like the samae machine.
I have the sunbeam 550 i think. Just did up 20 packs of fish last night 1after the other seals and vacs great. Had a more expensive model that shat itself so back to the old one . Had now for over 10 years and still going strong
Good day we sell the Sunbeam Gamesaver which is also a 12v unit as wel as 220v. The boys here use it and it makes for nice and easy vac any where you are. They are $379.95 and comes with a few bags already and you will get 10% off it with your FWM discount. We carry all the sizes of bags as well. Drop in and have a look at it. The Gamesaver is more of the heavy duty vac machines from sunbeam. We have already sold a heap of them and customers love them.
