personally I think some
personally I think some species are more prolific than others.....eg. whiting are pretty prolific ....big black bream....not so much.
if he/they have done it within rules (which "appears" not) then they are entitled to.
In my opinion I think shame for bream as the OP said "have never seen numbers and size like this before" guess he may not again.

The issue
The issue is bag limits are (in most cases) set for a reason.
Whiting are quite fast growers depending on the species. And prolific as well in most waters around our coast and estuary's.
Black bream however, while plentiful in the small sizes are quite slow growing and the larger fish are getting harder to find in big numbers. To have that many large Bream in one area suggest to me they were spawning.
The bag limit also states only 2 of the Bream can be over 40cm

Completely agree with you on "the issue" and certainly not defending the bream fishers here but the 2 bream over 40cm is for swan and canning. the FB page is Albany land based.

Some people just cant quite get the point that if we take them all, they are gone. And that goes for all species.

No. School whiting are short lived, grow rapidly and are prolific breeders.
It is almost impossible to over fish whiting with a wet line.
Bream are long lived, slow growing and take years before they breed.

What this does show
is despite all the education about limits etc some still just get it wrong, or possibly just ignore.
In this case it reeks of "ignoramous" in that posting and bragging about it surely couldnt be just ignorance, rather lack of knowledge. I dont think you would self report illegality unless you are realy missing some brain cells.
Bream is an iconic fish, targetted for their cunning and sporty nature on light gear. But very slow growing compared to other species mentioned above like whiting, and almost stunted compared to Mahi Mahi (dolphin fish, dorado etc) which can reach full adult size in just 2 years.
Limits are placed due to risk to a population. Prolific fast breeding fish have a bigger bag, whereas slower growing fish have a smaller - all to do with protecting the species. So you just cant compare different species in bag limits as some above have.
But I expect he copped a flogging, hence post deleted. Still as we are all aware you will be very rapidly "educated" on public media if you make a mistake, especially like this.
Personally dont rate them as a table fish anyway and never keep one, but nothing wrong with keeping a bag legally, even though some "Breamo's" will still frown!!

There was one unmolested system left in wa, that post just proves that now no river system is safe from poachers, the knock on affect of this clown bragging to all his poacher mates will result in wa's only pristine quality producing system reduced to the same state as the swan and canning system, still all good but 40cm bream will become a myth that we tell our kids and grandkids about. Guarenteed most of those bream will sit in freezer bags at the back of a freezer only to go to landfill next spring clean...... or next time he feels like poaching.
