Voyager Marquis

 Hi guys.

Has anyone here ever own a Voyager Marquis or been on one?  Thoughts?

Also, every Marquis seems to be inboard..  Has there ever been a Marquis with pod/outboard?

There's only 1 reason for asking these types of questions....  Haha

Marquis Weapon on Gumtree

I read  your runabout / bow rider post but thought I d share this. There's an absolute weapon of a Marquis on G tree at the mo. 120 k replacement down to 45k... the initial price he started was at 60k so he's keen to sell. Yeah I know the Nissan won't pull it.  Get a bigger truck.. sounds like you're family will only get bigger anyway.  You won't need to do anything apart from enjoy the boat.  High gunwales and great fit out. Voyager are renown  boats built for WA.

 Hi Perry.Yeh, I saw that

 Hi Perry.

Yeh, I saw that Marquis on gumtree. Its been up there for about 2 months.  I know how good Voyager boats are.. having owned a fully decked out Voyager LTD.

My dillema is that if I buy a Marquis now, it will just sit there for 12 months whilst I save up for a capable tow vehicle, so whats the point?

So I have decided to buy a 4x4 first, do up my current Penguin Huntress the way I want, and enjoy it for a couple of years. When my daughter is 4 or 5 years old, I will reinvestigate upgrading to a Marquis for overnight stays etc. Absolutely love the sporty look of 18-24ft Voyager hulls!!

Thanks for the input, mate!

Yeah Ash  they are good. .. saw one  today at the servo they're a solid boat.  I've been a fan of Voyagers for 30 years

Owned  a half cab and after 4 other boats now have a Voyager Fisherman with a Honda 90 on the back.  Beautiful riding hull and nice and beamy for fishing when at rest.
