wagoe mackerel - best time for ballooning??

Hi, just after any advice for chasing mackies from wagoe landbased. Want to sent some balloons out and was wondering when is the best time of year for easterlies and for macks?? Any advice would be appreciated ! Thanks

easter mate well any time around there i have found ill be up there for 10 days over the easter break same as every year hope that helps

Yep easter is the most reliable time. But they are getting mackies on balloons atm
