Warroora Station

 G'Day!

A mate of mine and our four boys aged 3 to 9 are heading to Warroora Station in the first week of January. We will be towing a small Jayco and a 4.2m tinny with a 40 on the back

Can anyone please help me out with some suggestions!?

1/  Best place to camp with protected reef where you can swim, snorkel and kayak.

2/  Best place to launch our tinny.

3/  Best places to fish in that size tinny.

Cheers guys look forward to hearing from you

Camp wherever you can get a spot, always busy

14 mile is the only place I would launch, soft sand elsehwre

Fish along the reef, its treacherous along there at times, stay home if the swell is up, look for turtles.

Thanks Horak soundslike 14 mile is the most kid friendly spot.  Hoping it's not too busy because of the heat and we can find a good spot.  OK to leave your boat in the water at 14 mile?

Sandy Point both launch and camp. Just got to head north to get out of sanctuary in the boat, but is my go to spot.

i take it you are aware that this whole area is run by Parks and Wildlife and you have to book your site. You can’t just turn up and set up camp.

quite strict rules there now.

check it out on their booking website.

Their is also 9 mile camp which is just north of the Coral Bay turn off and that is a first in first served site and is also pretty nice.

good luck.
