Weekender...

What do you peeps think is the best weekender destination between Perth and Geraldton?
Was hoping to get in at Moore River but it's booked out for weeks and weeks...
I'm hoping to go in the next 3 or so weekends and have just bought a Landrover Defender so I'm keen for some 4WD'ing action... throw in some rampaging Tailor or Mulloway and I'll be happy!!
The wife and I will be camping, and it doesn't need to be powered...
Idea's appreciated!
cheers,
damo

There are quite a few fishing options around the area.

I too had a 110 in the UK.
I too had a 110 in the UK. One of the best fishing motors I ever owned.
Had LandRovers for over ten yrs with the 110 for 7 of them.
It was kitted out with everything I needed to do my job and go fishing anywhere.
It wasn,t fast, it never got warm enough in Winter, it never got cool enough in Summer, at full pelt on the motorway you couldn't hear the radio or make conversation, it demolished next doors 1yr old BMW, whilst I was reversing wearing muddy wellies and my foot slipped, but only left a 1" scratch on my bumper, I could always fix it and get home and it just always looked good .
It broke my heart to see it driving away when I sold it. I felt like crying, even the Wife guessed I was truly gutted when I sulked for days.
