Don't know if this is normal but did anyone else see the whale playing around on 5 fathom today. It was in 10-15m of water and was mainly lying on its back messing around. It also jumped right out of the water, quite impressive. We were bottom bouncing and could hear this strange noise. The other two I was fishing with said it sounded like a whale and I laughed it off and said "as if", and sure enough, it was. We got pretty close, probably about 20m away, it didn't care one bit. I have some video footage, took it on my phone, don't know how good it is, will have a look and if it's watchable I'll post something up.

The fishing wasn't the best, very slow, we caught a 54cm Dhui and 44cm Breaksea in 12m of water.
