can anyone help me whith what channel i should have on all the time when boating around perth water

Below is a link. Just beware the emergerncy channels VHF-16 and 27 meg- 88
The link explains it but you will need to read through it to work out which channel you should be on dependant on where you are in Perth or the State.

Rough guide
Freo sea rescue monitors 73 and the Rottnest repeater on 81.
Vessel to vessel chatter on 68.
Emergency on 16.
These are all VHF channels.
If your radio can scan two channels I'd go with 16 and 73 around Perth.
