What happened to the weather predictions

Crazy wind predictions this weekend past.  Decided to give Saturday a miss as the wind forecast did not look too good - the result an almost windless day.  Go out on Sunday which was to be the better day and it ends up as sloppy as.  It did not stop Gail from catching her PB Baldie though!

That's a very nice baldie, they can really let you know you have a decent fish on the line.

 Nice Baldie.

Had the same issue as had a heap on Sat and headed out Sun. Sloppy day and pretty slow for us. Managed 1 Dhu of 63cm to save the day.

Few guys from work, three boats all up, planned to go out Saturday but decided to reschedule to Sunday after the weather update. Woke up Saturday to calm seas and shot out for a few hours on a solo mission hunting mackies but no luck. Got organised for a big Sunday and it was bloody horrible. Persisted through the shitty offshore out to the bank but it was a long slow trip. One boat lasted about half an hour, got seasick as all hell and came back in. Ended up with a nice bag of baldies and a stonka blackass but had to work hard for it.

Doing ok. Haven't been out much as I have been rewiring the boat and repairing the engine (oil alarm coming on). All sorted now just waiting for the right conditions and I'll be back on the water once more.

 Nice baldywent out both

 Nice baldy

went out both days...

Saturday looked crap on willy but good on seabreeze

decided to go early just to see how it would be ( truth be told Gilly talked me into it) and it was like glass and we ended up 40odd nm off the coast trolling for bills in 1300m

awesome day all day with 20 plus knots steam all the way home no dramas

Sunday was sloppy early but dropped off to be pretty sweet by 10am (off two rocks) and the was contrary to forecasts also

insane trying to make sense of it this summer in particular .... Roll on Autumn and winter
