I knew that Octopus could contort their bodies but that was amazing. Funny comment too about the wedding dress. Thanks for posting.

Unbelievable

I am waiting for someone to put up a video of occys opening up bait boxes on cray pots. some people are claiming that people are pulling their pots just to steal the bait out of them. I kid you not this being claimed by some.

Lots of video on these amazing creatures

Very intelligent, clever and uniquely adaptable - a university couldn't work out how the crabs in a tank located alongside one holding an occy kept disappearing until they installed a video camera - every night the occy would  literally climb out of it's tank enter the adjacent tank, catch a crab and then return with it's bootie to it's own enclosure.  Also seen them open screw top lids on clear bottles to get at crabs located inside so emptying cray pot bait containers would not surprize me in the least

Bit more than that - it was a Pacific giant occy

Often seen around Monteray Bay in the kelp forests - Would have weighed plenty - far bigger than the ones we get here

I would not have let that Occy go.

They are very smart creatures. There is another video where you can see an occy eating a shark.
