Heaps in 10-20m with the biggest specimens coming from 15-18m for me today. Although i did get 2 more fish in the 80-90cm range out of 8m while squidding so it pays to have a bait out at all times in my opinion. Good luck mate

11m

I caught heaps of babies around 18m and then moved between Carnac and Garden Is, near outer channel markers and got one around 85c in 11m. A few got away as clearly my gear is a bit lightweight for them. My 20lb mono leaders weren't up for the job when the pinkies went for a swim.

Good luck out there. Seems plenty of boats are catching them and the conditions will be awesome in the morning. It was a beautiful evening.

 Got four tonight in 12m

Got four tonight in 12m between garden island and Carnac. Biggest was 10.5kg. Did the weight and wait method with a good burley trail going. Lost a couple of others and dropped a couple more, just spat the hooks. Plenty of boats were leaving when the bite started pick up pace for us.
