Where are they biting?

G'day peoples...

Heading out for a fish from the side for a change. Taking a newbie to fishing with me... Would be great if we could get into some Salmon or some nice Tailor. Looking at heading to either Cottesloe or Point Peron (preferred).... How are these two spots fishing?

If anyone has been having some success on the Salmon or Tailor could you please tell me approx where you've been fishing and what you've been having success on?

Any other spots in between that are worth a look at early tomorrow morning?

If anyone wants to meet me out there; the more the merrier.

cheers,
damo

I haven't thrown a line in this week (got the European Flu) but I have been told Cottesloe would be a good spot to have a go at the moment for salmon and tailor. If I was heading out I would go to Grant St and fish the reef there.
Pt Peron should also be okay, but havn't heard anything from down that way. Good luck with it, Colin Hay

Tried Pt Peron last

Tried Pt Peron last Sunday...no sign of any salmon all morning. There were none at the Dawesville Cut, either. There were a couple of fish picked up out the front of Mandurah marina on Saturday.

Dunsborough is still worth the drive if you're really keen for some salmon...mate and I got six yesterday, as well as losing a few others.
