just had fuel stolen from my boat recently in my yard,just wanting to know where i can get a lockable fuel cap in perth,have tried whitworths,allboats,boatcity and hitech marine,would even like to know if you can get custom fuel caps,even syphon stoppers cheers

One idea I was considering
One idea I was considering is to simply use a basic door latch over the top of the fuel cap and putting a padlok on it. You do need some flat area around the cap and not be too fussed about looks though.

The old syphon stopper that
The old syphon stopper that was available from auto stores is effective. It's just a tapered coil spring that inserts into the filler making it difficult to get a syphon down it.
Another way is to use 2 elbows back to back to form a zigzag. insert this in your filler line and you wont get a syphon past it, but it can slow your filling rates down and cause blow backs.

Sure way to stop petrol theft
If you keep your boat behind your yard gate get a big nasty dog that likes living outdoors and has the attitude that what is out of the yard stays out, and what is in the yard stays in it.
