If after ideas then sugarpen bassday's (MB16), zipbait skinny pop jr's (clear) and duo pocopoco's (clear body pink head) are always the first ill bring out.
Scumdogs are cheap and work well as does the Popdog and the above lures are great but cost a bit more. The best lure by far is a clear body Ecogear SX40 (303 is my favourite) with trebles removed and assist hooks at the back but no where near as much fun as using surface lures.
That being said you are going to struggle getting them on surface lures until later in the year when the flats are warm.
....Atomic K9 pup and walker, Storm/Gomoku pencil, Strada Viral and Dancer in both 50 and 70mm sizes, list goes on...basically anything that floats/narrow stickbait profile/translucent finish/70mm or less.
As above, assist hooks, or in-line singles split-ringed directly onto the lure. And wait til at least September! My first one of last season came on October 1...
we have a pretty decent range when it comes to poppers for whiting , berkley pop dogs , zipbait skinny pops , halco poppers etc. come in and check em out, or pm us for more info.
