So srry a mate came over before cricket training and stole the iPad and started doing comments on this thread and in Instagram and stuff while I was getting changed, they were all messages like this, being rude. It's really annoying I gotta fix everything now. Srry

The blowies can be a problem. But I find if I speed the retrieve up a little bit still get the fish and don't loose to many to the blowies. Also I don't use the scented ones as they don't stand a chance. I find the z man hold up the best.

As nightfish said try the flats around North Freo.

Plastics are one option but little hardbodies are by far the best when it comes to whiting preference and the blowie problem. Generally surface lures 70mm and under are preferable like Bassday sugarpens, zipbait skinny pop jrs, duo pocopoco's, strada virals just to name a few of the more popular models. If you change the rear trebble for an ecogear ZX assist you may also find you get a better hookup rate.

Cheers

I also like the Berkley range

especially scum dog(yappy), puppy dog(wolf) and Prawn dog (hooch). I try and use the lures as close to clear colour as I can get. Puppy dog hasnt got a clearish lure (yet), but it is the one I would use least. Pure stickbaits IMO work better than bibbed lures and poppers.
