saw on one od the footy shows last nught that the eagles will offer alistair clarkson a 5yr deal and he will accept win or lose at the GF. If the eagles pull that off itll be a bigger scoop than ross lyon

Care factor = 0
Now who really cares who they get because the end result is going to be the same.
With the younger players from Gold Coast and Western Sydney getting bigger and stronger with more games experience in them , they can only move further up the ladder and some of the teams above them are going down and I think Brisbane and Eagles are two of them.

Ha ha you cared enough to
Ha ha you cared enough to put in a reasonable sized response John lol.
We need a hard arse coach and I reckon Clarkson would be good for the job.

Carefactor on your opinion =
Carefactor on your opinion = 0 as well Carnarvonite.
The bloke raised a reasonable question, and for what its worth I agree that getting Clarkson would be a coup. Cant see it happening, but it would still be a good get if they can manage it

can't see Clarko coming
can't see Clarko coming across, i can see WCE making an inquiry with a potential offer. Clarko has been there for years and is probably due to move on and let someone like Adam Simpson take over but i don't think the members will let the board get away with not having Sumich or Burns in there as head coach. I reckon Vossy would come back before Clarko came west

I reckon Clarkson will be dependant on the buddy decision.
I wouldnt say the result will be the same as this year... look at the dockers with their new coach...in the GF. Im sure if the previous coach was still in place they wouldnt be.

Sword
Bucks has always been his own man, interesting list changes happening at Pie land at the moment. He'll either live or die by his own sword.
Sea-Kem considering where WC were tipped to finish compared to the Pies, I reckon we went okay (only okay though). Very disappointing end to the year.
Sumich has done a good apprenticeship, but I think there's more to coaching these days than just game day, its also a marketing thing. I'm not sure Suma fits that bill well enough.

If they get Clarko then it
If they get Clarko then it would be a massive coup...premiership coaches just don't grow on trees.
**Just read that Clarko has come out and denied wanting to leave, so who knows..

I agree with John
Dosn't matter. They will go nowhere for years and years because of the wanker running the AFL giving the two new clubs a license along with every young gun in the country.
How long will the Suns dominate for ? [ another Brisbane maybe ]
Then along will come GWS for a few years.
Then there is Port a very young club going gangbusters.
I am thankful the Dockers are making their run before the new clubs become power houses.
But good luck to the weegs in there endeavor for a new coach [ Go Suma ]

Could be if the hawks lose
Could be if the hawks lose the final both Buddy and Clarko walk out on the club... pretty hard to take 2 grand final loses in a row. doesnt it seem convienent they are the only two who have not signed on for next year.

Thinking it maybe someone
Thinking it maybe someone from the Dockers or Hawks otherwise they would of anounced it by now. My moneys on Hawks assitant Adam Simpson. Please don't let it be Sumich.
